About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end systems engineering for major acquisition programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory standards.
- Define, document, and validate system requirements, architecture, and performance criteria across multidisciplinary teams.
- Oversee risk assessment, mitigation planning, and issue resolution throughout the program lifecycle.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and internal partners to manage schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering staff, fostering continuous improvement and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering and acquisition program management.
- Proven track record of leading large‑scale, complex programs with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, requirements engineering, and technical leadership principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
