Lead a multidisciplinary team designing and integrating electronic warfare systems, leveraging C++, Python, MATLAB, and RF signal‑processing expertise to deliver high‑performance, secure solutions for defense platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and integration of electronic warfare subsystems across air, land, and sea platforms.
- Develop and validate signal‑processing algorithms using MATLAB and Python to detect, classify, and counter hostile emissions.
- Drive Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, creating system models, requirements traceability matrices, and verification plans.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on RF front‑end design, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with DoD standards.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and manage risk throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of systems engineering experience in electronic warfare.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and MATLAB for algorithm development and simulation.
- Strong knowledge of RF systems, signal processing, and DoD security clearance (Secret) requirements.
- Experience with MBSE tools (e.g., SysML, MagicDraw) and Agile development processes.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain an active Secret clearance.
