Systems Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end system integration for a complex product family, defining architecture, interfaces, and risk mitigation across mechanical, electrical, autonomy, and mission systems using rigorous documentation and trade‑study analysis.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the full system architecture across all platforms, ensuring coherence and scalability.
- Define, document, and enforce interfaces between subsystems and external vendors, creating and managing Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices and verification logic to guarantee system integrity.
- Lead architecture trade studies and platform commonality decisions, balancing performance, cost, and schedule.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate system‑level risks early, implementing corrective actions and contingency plans.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in systems engineering for complex, multi‑disciplinary products.
- Proven ability to create and manage ICDs, traceability matrices, and verification plans.
- Strong analytical skills for trade‑study evaluation and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across engineering, manufacturing, and vendor teams.
- Leadership experience guiding cross‑functional teams toward integrated system delivery.
