Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and testing of secure ground systems for experimental mission capabilities, ensuring compliance with TS/SCI and SAP requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of ground system development, from requirements analysis to deployment, ensuring alignment with experimental mission objectives.
- Coordinate integration and test activities across multidisciplinary teams, managing schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain and sustain existing systems, implementing upgrades and troubleshooting to meet evolving mission needs.
- Ensure all work complies with TS/SCI and Special Access Program (SAP) security protocols and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with RDT&E stakeholders to define system architecture, performance metrics, and integration interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and test support for secure ground systems.
- Proven track record managing complex projects in a TS/SCI or SAP environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work full‑time on site and adapt to evolving mission requirements.
