Security Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise security solutions, driving protection of critical assets across on‑prem and cloud environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust security frameworks for on‑prem and cloud infrastructures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating investigations, root‑cause analysis, and remediation across multiple teams.
- Oversee vulnerability management programs, including scanning, assessment, and prioritization of remediation activities.
- Implement and manage SIEM solutions, developing correlation rules, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in enterprise security engineering, with a proven track record in architecture and incident response.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑prem security technologies.
- Hands‑on expertise with SIEM platforms (Splunk, ELK, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys).
- Strong understanding of network security, IAM, encryption, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior security staff.
