About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the system engineering lifecycle for space‑domain products, from concept through delivery.
- Define and manage system requirements, architecture, and interfaces across multidisciplinary teams.
- Oversee integration, test, and validation activities, ensuring compliance with mission‑critical standards.
- Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with hardware, software, and mission teams to resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in system engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense space systems.
- Proficiency with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion) and simulation environments (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong knowledge of space system standards (e.g., ISO 26262, DO-178C) and test/validation processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
