Systems Engineer
Lead System Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and managing complex infrastructure solutions, leveraging Linux/Windows, virtualization, cloud platforms, and automation scripting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain hybrid on‑premise and cloud infrastructure environments.
- Lead a team of engineers in deploying virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM) and container platforms.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and configuration management using Python, PowerShell, and tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of Linux and Windows Server workloads.
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to design end‑to‑end solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
- Strong hands‑on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python and PowerShell; familiarity with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, DNS) and security best practices.
- Proven leadership ability to mentor engineers and drive technical projects to completion.
