About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive spectrum policy strategies that align with federal regulations and emerging wireless technologies.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to harmonize spectrum allocations across multiple government agencies and industry stakeholders.
- Provide advanced RF engineering analysis, including interference studies, propagation modeling, and spectrum utilization assessments.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable technical guidance and implementation plans.
- Utilize Python and data‑analysis tools to model spectrum scenarios, generate reports, and support decision‑making.
- Represent the organization in technical working groups, public hearings, and inter‑agency forums.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field with 8+ years of experience in spectrum policy and RF engineering.
- Deep knowledge of FCC, NTIA, and international spectrum regulations and harmonization processes.
- Proven ability to conduct technical analyses using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar for propagation and interference modeling.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to policy makers, senior leaders, and external partners.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex, multi‑agency projects.
