Software Engineer
Lead the design and evolution of a high‑performance FX Core platform, delivering scalable trade capture, regulatory and approval services using Java, C++, microservices, and cloud technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and enhance the FX Core Technology platform to achieve best‑in‑class performance, resiliency, and scalability.
- Lead development of trade capture, regulatory compliance, and approval frameworks for traders, middle‑office, and reporting teams.
- Design and implement microservice‑based solutions using Java and C++ deployed on Kubernetes and AWS.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to ensure robust, reusable components and continuous delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers, enforce coding standards, and drive technical best practices across the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with deep expertise in Java and C++.
- Strong background in building and operating microservices on Kubernetes and AWS.
- Experience with high‑throughput, low‑latency trading systems and knowledge of FIX or similar protocols.
- Proficiency in SQL databases and performance tuning for large data volumes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor teams, and deliver complex, mission‑critical solutions.
