QA Engineer
Lead QA Engineer responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions, coordinating test activities, and mentoring teams to ensure high‑quality software releases using tools like Selenium, Java, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web and API applications.
- Plan, organize, and track testing activities across multiple projects to meet release schedules.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor results to ensure continuous quality.
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and training to junior QA staff and cross‑functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
- Proficiency in Java or Python and hands‑on experience with Selenium or similar automation tools.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and mentorship skills.
