Software Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade ServiceNow solutions, driving automation and employee experience improvements using JavaScript, REST integrations, and ITSM best practices within an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy scalable ServiceNow applications and integrations that enhance employee workflows and automate business processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and champion best practices for ServiceNow development, including JavaScript, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and other integration points between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Drive continuous improvement by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and applying iterative enhancements in an Agile sprint cycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong grasp of ITSM modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (client‑side and server‑side) and experience building REST APIs or IntegrationHub spokes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, mentor team members, and deliver high‑quality code in an Agile environment.
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, security, and governance as they relate to ServiceNow implementations.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
