Lead Software Engineer, ML - Cadence Design Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of deep learning and agentic framework solutions that enhance EDA tools.
• Collaborate with product, hardware, and data teams to translate complex design challenges into scalable ML models.
• Mentor and coach a small team of software engineers, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
• Own end‑to‑end model lifecycle: data ingestion, training, validation, and production monitoring.
• Advise on architecture choices, ensuring models meet performance, latency, and reliability targets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on machine learning and deep learning.
• Proficiency in Python and experience building production‑grade ML pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with agentic or reinforcement learning frameworks and large‑scale model training.
• Knowledge of electronic design automation concepts and the ability to translate domain problems into ML solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of leading technical teams.
