Lead the design and delivery of low‑latency trading and risk systems, driving integration, automation, and cloud operations for a top‑tier equities platform using Java, C++, Python, AWS, and Kubernetes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high‑performance, low‑latency trading and pre‑trade risk applications in Java and C++.
- Lead integration of client and exchange interfaces, ensuring robust connectivity and data integrity.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployments on AWS to accelerate release cycles.
- Mentor and coach a cross‑functional team, promoting Agile practices and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, ops, and security stakeholders to define requirements, performance targets, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in high‑frequency trading or financial services.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, and Python with a strong grasp of concurrency and memory management.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3) and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps tooling.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of leading technical teams.
