Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering

As a Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack (Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and resilient cloud-based systems. You will lead a team of engineers in implementing cloud operations and resilience engineering practices to ensure high availability and reliability of our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical debt, and implement solutions to improve system performance and reduce downtime. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior engineers in their technical growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and resilient cloud-based systems using Python, Node.js, and AWS.
• Lead a team of engineers in implementing cloud operations and resilience engineering practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical debt.
• Implement solutions to improve system performance and reduce downtime.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in their technical growth and development.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud operations and resilience engineering.
• Strong expertise in Python, Node.js, and AWS.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
