Software Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of scalable finance automation solutions, leveraging Python, Node.js, AWS, and machine learning to transform Open Banking data into actionable credit insights.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high‑throughput microservices in Python and Node.js that ingest and process Open Banking data streams.
- Lead a cross‑functional team to implement end‑to‑end credit decision pipelines using AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SageMaker).
- Design and maintain data models, ETL workflows, and ML model training pipelines to improve credit risk scoring.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into robust, secure, and compliant code.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices in CI/CD, testing, and observability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend services.
- Proficiency in Python and Node.js, plus experience with AWS serverless and containerized architectures.
- Hands‑on experience building machine learning pipelines and deploying models at scale.
- Deep understanding of Open Banking APIs, data privacy, and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead technical teams in a fast‑moving fintech environment.
