Lead the design and delivery of scalable enterprise search solutions for ecommerce, driving technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and ensuring high-performance, cloud-native architecture using Elasticsearch, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long‑term technical strategy for enterprise search platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and emerging technologies.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing team of search engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and career development.
- Architect and implement scalable, cloud‑native search solutions using Elasticsearch, AWS services, Docker, and Kubernetes, focusing on performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into robust search features and APIs.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and best practices across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on search technologies and cloud architecture.
- Deep expertise in Elasticsearch, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus solid experience in Python or Java.
- Proven leadership in building and scaling engineering teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and performance tuning of large‑scale search systems.
