About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical models using Python and SQL.
- Implement machine learning algorithms to extract actionable insights from large, heterogeneous datasets.
- Deploy and manage solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with defense standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in software development and data governance.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data analytics.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Valid TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days.
