Cloud Architect
Lead the design and deployment of scalable cloud solutions for aerospace applications, driving automation, security, and performance across multi‑region environments using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement highly available, secure cloud infrastructures for mission‑critical aerospace systems on AWS.
- Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters, Helm charts, and Terraform modules to support continuous delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define service level objectives, performance metrics, and cost‑optimization strategies.
- Lead code reviews, mentor senior engineers, and champion best practices in DevOps, security, and observability.
- Drive automation of deployment, scaling, and monitoring using Python scripts, GitHub Actions, and CloudWatch dashboards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on cloud architecture.
- Proven expertise in AWS services (EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudFormation).
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with Java or Go.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
