About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement core components of a governed AI platform that supports multiple product teams.
- Define and enforce reusable patterns, engineering standards, and best practices for AI model deployment and lifecycle management.
- Lead a team of engineers, providing technical mentorship, code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and security teams to ensure AI solutions are safe, compliant, and scalable.
- Drive automation of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or technical‑lead role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Java, and hands‑on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Experience building and operating machine‑learning pipelines, model serving, and monitoring in production.
- Proven ability to establish engineering standards, drive automation, and mentor junior engineers.
