About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of security architecture for new nuclear reactor designs, ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
- Collaborate with plant layout, program integration, and supplier teams to embed security controls early in the design lifecycle.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security gaps.
- Develop and maintain licensing documentation, technical requirements, and work processes for advanced nuclear plant projects.
- Provide expert guidance on security best practices, emerging technologies, and compliance requirements to cross‑functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering within high‑stakes, regulated environments (e.g., nuclear, aerospace, defense).
- Deep knowledge of nuclear plant design, licensing processes, and safety analysis.
- Proven track record of leading security initiatives, conducting risk assessments, and delivering compliant solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cross‑functional collaboration and supplier management in complex engineering projects.
