About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable encryption and key management systems for large‑scale, high‑volume data environments.
- Design and maintain secure cryptographic protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Integrate and manage Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) across on‑premises and cloud infrastructures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess risk, perform threat modeling, and enforce security best practices.
- Lead incident response efforts related to cryptographic failures or key compromise events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in security engineering with a focus on encryption and key management.
- Proven expertise in cryptographic protocols, HSM integration, and enterprise data protection.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., PCI‑DSS, GDPR, HIPAA) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Effective communication skills for translating complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
