Lead architecture and development of high‑throughput, low‑latency Java microservices on AWS EKS, driving performance, scalability, and observability while delivering production‑grade code and prototypes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and solutioning of distributed, low‑latency, high‑TPS systems on AWS and EKS.
- Architect microservices‑based Java platforms, optimizing for performance, resiliency, scalability, and operability.
- Make trade‑offs across compute, networking, data, and observability layers to meet measurable SLAs/SLOs.
- Own non‑functional requirements such as latency, throughput, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Write production‑grade Java code using Spring Boot, gRPC, and REST; review critical code paths.
- Build POCs, prototypes, and experiments to validate architectural choices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing high‑performance Java microservices on AWS.
- Deep knowledge of Spring Boot, gRPC, REST, and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Strong background in observability, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
