Position Summary:
Voya is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join Voya's Reinsurance team. The position is responsible for administering reinsurance treaties and reinsurance reporting. We are looking for an individual with a passion for process improvements and automation.
Position Description:
Administer reinsurance agreements including preparing and compiling reinsurance settlements and reports.
Identify and lead the implementation of improvements within workstream processes.
Analyze and create automation opportunities within the existing reinsurance processes.
Maintaining integrity of reinsurance admin system and data.
Review and validate reinsurance settlements reports received from reinsurers for completeness and accuracy per agreements.
Contribute to financial close cycles, including recording journal entries, issuing wires, reviewing, and analyzing operating statements, and providing flux analysis.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks, projects and analysis upon request under limited supervision.
Work on various responsibilities associated with reinsurance and reporting and interact with various business partners.
Interact, communicate, and maintain liaison with reinsurers and third-party administrators to ensure the quality, accuracy and completeness of reports received.
Deliver succinct and clear summarizations of analysis tailored to the needs of different customers.
Participate in internal and external audit testing.
Ensure reinsurance processes and reporting activities are in compliance with audit standards, including sufficient controls and efficient reinsurance processes established/maintaine
