About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data models and pipelines that support real‑time and batch analytics for trading execution and cost benchmarking.
- Lead the creation of quantitative datasets across equities, credit, FX, fixed income, commodities, crypto, and derivatives, ensuring data quality and performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and quants to build AI/ML pipelines that detect signals, evaluate liquidity, and surface alpha opportunities.
- Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake architecture for scalability, cost efficiency, and low latency.
- Mentor and guide a small team of developers, setting coding standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Snowflake and SQL.
