QA Engineer
Lead QA Engineer responsible for defining quality strategy, building automated test frameworks, and driving continuous improvement across a high‑volume precast concrete manufacturing environment using Selenium, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall quality assurance strategy for the precast concrete production line, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium and Python to increase test coverage and reduce manual effort.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with DevOps to enable rapid, reliable releases.
- Lead a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams in Agile ceremonies to ensure quality is built in from the start.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium) and scripting languages, preferably Python.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience integrating automated tests into pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments and using issue‑tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
