Your responsibilities will encompass the end-to-end process- building, owning, and maintaining products and features within the Messaging domain. Partnering closely with diverse teams across Indeed, your role will be instrumental in enhancing our platform to assist people in securing meaningful employment opportunities. Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams and other interested parties to define product strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and deliver scalable solutions aligned to broader business objectives.
- Communicate product vision, roadmap direction, priorities, and tradeoffs to leadership, collaborators, and interested parties to drive alignment and informed decision-making.
- Be the face of the customer internally, advocating for and representing customer needs, opportunities, and product requirements while balancing business and technical considerations.
- Identify, define, and monitor product goals, success metrics, and long-term outcomes to measure impact and guide prioritization.
- Drive product discovery and execution by leveraging experimentation, data insights, and customer feedback to inform decisions and optimize product performance.
- Partner across teams to influence product direction, navigate ambiguity, and support delivery across interconnected initiatives.
- Provide clear written and verbal updates on roadmap progress, risks, priorities, and outcomes to leadership and collaborators.
Skills/Competencies
- Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience.
- Experience working closely with engineers to define, plan, and deliver products and features across complex problem spaces.
- Experience balancing customer needs, business priorities, and technical considerations to inform product decisions.
- Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging insights, experimentation, and metrics to guide prioritization and product improvements.
- Deep curiosity and accountability for the data and insights of their products.
