About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and validation of gold and silver recovery systems, ensuring performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, structural, process) to integrate components and optimize overall system functionality.
- Utilize CAD (SolidWorks) and finite element analysis to develop detailed engineering drawings and perform structural integrity assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating client feedback and emerging technologies into product enhancements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and quality assurance to support prototype development, testing, and production hand‑off.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
- 5+ years of product engineering experience in the precious metals or related high‑precision equipment industry.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, FEA tools, and design for manufacturability principles.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects.
- Knowledge of gold/silver recovery processes and equipment standards is highly desirable.
