What you'll do
Epic Games is looking for a Lead Producer to join the Unreal Engine Marketplace team. In this role, you will lead a team of talented Producers, driving product strategy and execution for the Marketplace. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap, managing the development lifecycle, and ensuring the successful delivery of features and content that enhance the user experience for both sellers and buyers.
In this role, you will
- Lead and mentor a team of Producers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Define and champion the product vision and strategy for the Unreal Engine Marketplace, aligning with overall Unreal Engine goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and business development to deliver high-quality features and content.
- Own the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives, and managing the development backlog using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather user feedback to inform product decisions.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Marketplace initiatives.
- Communicate product updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders at all levels.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within the production team.
- Drive continuous improvement of the Marketplace experience for both content creators and consumers.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in product management or production within the software development or content creation industry.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of Producers or product managers.
- Strong understanding of digital marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategy, from concept to launch.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience in the video game, film, TV, visualization, simulation, automotive, or architecture industries is a plus.
- Deep passion for Unreal Engine and the creator ecosystem.
