About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical studies on grid integration of renewable and conventional resources, focusing on stability and reliability.
- Design and evaluate FACTS, HVDC, and STATCOM solutions to mitigate power quality issues and enhance system flexibility.
- Perform dynamic simulations using Positive Sequence Load Flow and other advanced power system tools to assess transient and steady‑state behavior.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop control strategies for synchronous condensers, power plant, and transmission system dynamic controls.
- Provide expert guidance to clients on best practices for grid modernization and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with focus on power systems.
- 5+ years of experience in power system analysis, including FACTS, HVDC, and STATCOM projects.
- Proficiency with Positive Sequence Load Flow and other industry‑standard simulation software.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills, with a proven track record of leading technical teams.
