About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain secure, highly available cloud platforms on AWS, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform to automate deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes) into production environments.
- Develop and maintain tooling and scripts in Python and Bash to streamline operations, monitoring, and incident response.
- Lead platform modernization initiatives, evaluating emerging technologies and driving adoption across the organization.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC) and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong containerization skills with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines and scripting in Python or Bash.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
