Systems Engineer
Lead the design and integration of complex defense systems using MBSE and digital engineering practices, driving architecture, reverse engineering, and lifecycle management across DoD mission areas.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and validate system designs using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
- Lead reverse engineering efforts to extract functional and performance requirements from legacy systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate hardware, software, and firmware components throughout the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain digital engineering artifacts, including models, simulations, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with DoD standards and programmatic requirements, providing technical guidance to project teams.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in MBSE, Systems Architecture, and Digital Engineering for defense or aerospace applications.
- Proficiency in reverse engineering techniques and tools.
- Strong understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle and DoD mission domains.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or related field preferred.
