Lead Mobile Building Engineer responsible for overseeing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, coordinating maintenance, managing contractors, and mentoring staff to ensure optimal building performance and safety.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the operating condition of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment across multiple mobile units.
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
- Oversee service contractors, ensuring compliance with building standards and safety regulations.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior engineers and technicians, setting performance goals and providing professional development.
- Collaborate with tenants, contractors, and property managers to resolve issues and improve building operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in building systems maintenance, with a focus on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of building automation and preventive maintenance best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
