QA Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of mobile automation frameworks, driving quality across iOS and Android apps using Appium, Selenium, Java/Kotlin, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust mobile automation frameworks for iOS and Android platforms.
- Lead a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship, code reviews, and best‑practice guidance.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous delivery of high‑quality releases.
- Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and defect triage processes.
- Analyze test results, generate comprehensive reports, and drive root‑cause analysis for flaky or failing tests.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on mobile automation experience with Appium and Selenium.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Kotlin (or Swift/Objective‑C for iOS).
- Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
- Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring junior engineers and driving process improvements.
