About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines that power recommendation, personalization, and ad‑targeting features for streaming platforms.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of data scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with product, content, and analytics stakeholders to translate business goals into scalable ML solutions.
- Optimize model training and inference workloads using Spark, Kubernetes, and AWS services to ensure low latency and high throughput.
- Establish best practices for model monitoring, versioning, and continuous improvement in production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying production ML systems, preferably in media or entertainment domains.
- Strong proficiency in Python and deep‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) for scalable model serving.
- Experience processing large datasets with Spark or similar distributed computing tools.
- Proven leadership abilities, including mentoring engineers and driving cross‑team collaboration.
