Lead the design and deployment of advanced ML models for news content, driving personalization and recommendation at scale using Python, AWS, and deep learning techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end ML pipelines for news recommendation, content classification, and sentiment analysis.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business goals into scalable ML solutions.
- Lead model training, hyper‑parameter tuning, and performance monitoring in a cloud environment (AWS).
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in ML engineering.
- Stay current with cutting‑edge research in NLP and deep learning, integrating novel techniques into production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in ML engineering, with a strong focus on production systems.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, S3).
- Hands‑on experience with NLP models (transformers, BERT, GPT) and large‑scale data processing.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
