Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise Manufacturing Execution and SCADA solutions on the Ignition platform, driving full‑stack implementation and technical strategy.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and deliver end‑to‑end Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and SCADA solutions using Ignition.
- Lead a cross‑functional development team, providing technical guidance on full‑stack implementation (Java back‑end, JavaScript front‑end, REST APIs).
- Ensure solution scalability, reliability, and security throughout the product lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, and support.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and IT stakeholders to translate process requirements into robust digital solutions.
- Establish best practices, coding standards, and documentation for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and supporting Ignition‑based SCADA/MES applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) for full‑stack development.
- Hands‑on experience with RESTful services, SQL/NoSQL databases, and industrial communication protocols.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications in Ignition or industrial automation a plus.
