About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, delivery and commissioning of wastewater pipeline infrastructure within the AMP8 programme.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring BIM models and GIS data are integrated and up‑to‑date.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and risk registers, delivering on time and within cost targets.
- Ensure compliance with national and local environmental regulations, health & safety standards and industry best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating nature‑based solutions and emerging technologies into project workflows.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in large‑scale water infrastructure projects, with proven leadership in pipeline design and construction.
- Strong knowledge of BIM, GIS and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders, regulators and contractors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑partner programmes and deliver sustainable outcomes.
