Devops Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, driving automation, reliability, and performance across global financial services platforms using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments for global financial applications.
- Lead automation initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with platform, security, and application teams to define and enforce best practices for infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response.
- Drive performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization for cloud resources and on‑prem data centers.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure and platform engineering within a large, regulated organization.
- Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, RDS, EKS, VPC, IAM) and Kubernetes cluster management.
- Proven track record with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
