Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of health information workflows and data models that support secure exchange and analytics.
- Drive data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate FHIR APIs and other standards into existing platforms.
- Mentor and guide a team of analysts and engineers, fostering best practices in data quality, documentation, and security.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines using SQL and Python, delivering high‑performance, reliable solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in health information management, health data integration, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of FHIR, HL7, and other healthcare data standards.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring technical teams.
