Embedded Systems Engineer
Lead firmware development for electric‑vehicle manufacturing, driving the design, implementation, and testing of embedded systems that enable efficient, reliable production lines using RTOS, hardware debugging, and automated test frameworks.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop firmware for manufacturing equipment, ensuring high reliability and performance in an electric‑vehicle production environment.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of firmware and test engineers, setting coding standards, reviewing pull requests, and mentoring junior staff.
- Design and implement automated test suites and continuous integration pipelines to accelerate release cycles and maintain quality.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to debug and optimize embedded solutions, using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers.
- Drive firmware release management, version control, and documentation to support production and field service.
Requirements
- 10+ years of embedded firmware experience, with a strong background in C/C++ and RTOS environments.
- Proven leadership in a manufacturing or automotive context, managing teams and complex projects.
- Hands‑on expertise in hardware debugging, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
