About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team to design, develop, and maintain aerospace aftermarket software and systems.
- Define system architecture and technical roadmaps, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Drive Agile and DevOps practices, overseeing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployments.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and customer stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Manage resource planning, performance reviews, and career development for engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience, primarily in Python and C++.
- Proven track record leading engineering teams in a high‑tech or aerospace environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong system architecture and design skills, with experience in safety‑critical or regulated domains.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
