Lead Engineer - Systems Engineering - GE Aerospace

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, integration, and validation of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) for GE’s Common Core Systems across multiple aircraft platforms.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—software, hardware, avionics, and manufacturing—to define technical objectives and deliverables.
• Oversee system architecture, interface definition, and performance verification, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating lessons learned and best practices into future projects.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in aerospace systems engineering, with a focus on Integrated Modular Avionics.
• Strong knowledge of Common Core Systems architecture and aircraft platform integration.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) and regulatory processes.
