Lead the reliability and improvement function for critical rotating equipment at Moranbah, driving maintenance strategy, performance analysis, and continuous improvement through technical leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability strategies for all rotating equipment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives.
- Lead performance analysis initiatives, identifying root causes of failures and recommending corrective actions to improve uptime and reduce maintenance costs.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations teams to integrate reliability insights into design, commissioning, and operational processes.
- Mentor and coach a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Prepare and present detailed reliability reports, dashboards, and improvement plans to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in reliability engineering for rotating equipment in a high‑volume industrial environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, and reliability growth modeling.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of driving cross‑functional initiatives.
- Hands‑on knowledge of maintenance planning tools and reliability software.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.
