About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a second‑line engineering team, ensuring timely resolution of complex incidents and continuous improvement of support processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure applications on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Implement and manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilisation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements, architecture, and best practices for new features and system enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior engineer or team lead in a cloud‑centric environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and AWS services, with hands‑on experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with modern pipeline tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a track record of delivering reliable, secure solutions under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work across multidisciplinary teams.
