About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Windchill PLM environments to support product configuration and change management processes.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in implementing PLM enhancements, ensuring alignment with engineering, manufacturing, and quality standards.
- Develop custom extensions and integrations using Java and SQL to connect Windchill with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise tools.
- Establish and enforce governance policies for configuration and change control, including audit trails and compliance reporting.
- Drive Agile delivery practices, manage sprint planning, and mentor junior engineers on PLM best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Windchill PLM, including configuration, customization, and administration.
- Strong background in Configuration Management and Change Management within a product development environment.
- Proficiency in Java development and SQL scripting for PLM extensions and data integration.
- Experience applying Agile methodologies to large‑scale engineering projects.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
