Roles and Responsibilities
- Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the R1S / pre-ITO process while interfacing with the commercial team.
- Possesses a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies.
- Calculation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency. Documentation of technical specifications & costing elements for further contract execution phases.
- Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering Degree preferably in Mechanical.
- Knowledge of Gas turbine operations, hands on working on B / E / F / HA Platforms.
- Previous knowledge of CM&U, New unit RCAE process / Perf engg will be of value.
- This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Customer Application Engineering.
