Software Engineer
Lead the development of digital integrated systems for hypersonic programs, driving architecture, software, and hardware integration using C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and embedded control technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the architecture of digital flight‑control and data‑handling systems for hypersonic vehicles.
- Develop high‑performance embedded software in C++ and Python, integrating sensor fusion, real‑time control loops, and telemetry.
- Create and validate models using MATLAB/Simulink and model‑based design to support hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
- Collaborate with propulsion, aerodynamics, and structures teams to ensure seamless system integration across the vehicle lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers, enforce best practices, and drive continuous improvement in development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in digital system development for high‑performance aerospace applications.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and embedded real‑time operating systems.
- Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, model‑based design, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop simulation.
- Hands‑on experience with control system design, sensor integration, and high‑speed data acquisition.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver complex systems on schedule.
