Lead Engineer – DevOps Salesforce driving end‑to‑end automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure for Salesforce deployments using AWS, Docker, and Python.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce releases, integrating automated testing and deployment to multiple environments.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support Salesforce applications, ensuring high availability and security.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to enforce DevOps best practices, including automated code reviews, linting, and compliance checks.
- Implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for micro‑services that integrate with Salesforce, improving deployment speed and reliability.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers on DevOps tooling, Salesforce deployment strategies, and cloud operations.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in DevOps with a strong focus on Salesforce environments.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CodePipeline, CloudFormation) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of Salesforce deployment processes, change sets, and metadata API.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
