Lead engineering role driving design, implementation, and operation of large‑scale cloud and compute platforms using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern development practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS for compute‑intensive workloads.
- Design and operate container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes, ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and enforce infrastructure‑as‑code standards with Terraform, automating provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Lead a cross‑functional team in implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to accelerate delivery of services written in Python and Java.
- Collaborate with product, security, and reliability engineers to define service level objectives and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and operating cloud platforms on AWS.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and micro‑services architecture.
- Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools and modern CI/CD frameworks.
- Solid programming skills in Python and Java for automation and service development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and influence cross‑team technical decisions.
