About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and integration of engine cooling and HVAC systems for next‑generation electric SUVs.
- Perform thermal analysis and CFD simulations to optimize heat exchangers, coolant flow paths, and temperature control strategies.
- Collaborate with powertrain, battery, and vehicle packaging teams to ensure seamless system integration and compliance with performance targets.
- Develop and validate test plans, conduct hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) and bench testing, and analyze results to drive iterative improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers, manage technical schedules, and communicate progress to senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Sciences, or related field with 8+ years of experience in engine cooling or HVAC system design.
- Proficiency in CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, Star‑CCM+) and thermal simulation software such as MATLAB/Simulink.
- Hands‑on experience with CAD platforms (SolidWorks, CATIA) and scripting in Python for data analysis and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and deliver results on schedule.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for innovative, sustainable vehicle technologies.
